Carl was born and raised in New Hampshire, proudly served the US Navy during World War II where he worked as a Ships Cook 2nd Class aboard the USS Alaska and USS Washington, was an active member of the Free & Accepted Masons Blue Lodge #95 Mantua and 32 degree Shriners, and dedicated his career as a boilermaker for the Local Union.
