Nicholas died on Tuesday, April 16, 1918 at age 68 years. He was born at Wellesley, Ont. on April 23,1850. He leaves to mourn his demise, his wife, two sons, and six daughters. Henry and John both of Milton, Mrs. J. Timbers, Mrs. J. Hilson, and Mrs. W. Wilson of Milton, Mrs. W. Hilson of Quelph, Mrs. J. Porter of Edmonton, Alberta and Miss Sylvia at home, also two granddaughters Miss S. Mountain of Ash, and Miss Hazel Cardinell at home. The funeral took place from his late residence on Thursday, April 18th at 2:30 p.m. to Evergreen Cemetery, Milton.
