A native of Simpson County, she was the daughter of Barbara Harris Estes (David) and the late Garnett Johnson of Portland, Tenn. She was preceded in death by her husband, Allen Hicks; a brother, Mark Johnson; and two sisters, Sandra Keen and Ann Johnson.
She is survived by a son, Brad Turney (Mary Ellen), and a daughter, Bonnie Turney DiGiuseppe (Joey), all of Franklin; a stepdaughter, Leann Hicks Bramlett (Jon); a stepson, Jacob Hicks (Alicia), all of Alabama; three granddaughters, Amber Turney and Taylor and Riley DiGiuseppe, all of Franklin; and six stepgrandchildren, all of Alabama.
Also surviving are three brothers, Steve Johnson (Carolyn), Dale Johnson (Kathy) and Johnny Johnson (Debbie), all of Franklin.
Cremation was chosen. Graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Restlawn Cemetery in Franklin.
