Mark O. McKinney, Sr., 51 of Hernando, died Thursday, October 8, 2015 at his home.
Mark was born February 20, 1964 in Brooksville, FL to Lucy (Roush) and Ronald C. McKinney. He was a heavy equipment operator with Pave-Rite. Mark was a hunter and fisherman and enjoyed camping. He was a hard worker with an excellent work ethic. He liked to BBQ and just generally enjoyed life.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 28 years, Michelle (Westmoreland) McKinney; his son, Mark O. McKinney, Jr. and his girlfriend Kandace, of Hernando; his daughter, Stephanie McKinney and boyfriend James Trickel, Sr. of Hernando; his parents, Ron and Lucy McKinney of Hernando; his sister, Stacey McKinney of Inverness; grandchildren: James Trickel, Jr. "Catfish," Maranda Trickel "Sissy," Alliyah McKinney "Sweet Pea," and Jacey McKinney "Pole Cat"; his nephew, Chase Burlew; his uncles, Johnny , Cricket, and James Roush; his aunt, Katie McMullen; mother and father in law, Jeanette and Thomas Westmoreland, Sr.
Also, a special thanks to Mark's Pave Rite family, Tom Jackson, Wayne Stefanski, and Phillip, and Mark's best friend, Frank Dick.
Cremation arrangments are under the driection of the Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home with Crematory in Inverness. A Celebration of Life Service for Mark will be at a later date.
