Blanche Currin Etheridge a resident of Oxford, NC, went to be with our Lord and Savior Wednesday, October 14, 2015 at Granville Medical Center.
She was a lifelong member of Stovall Baptist Church. She graduated from Stovall High School in 1954. She retired from C. A. Dillon Training School in 1994. While working there, she received the Long Leaf Pine Award from Governor James B. Hunt for volunteering. She played softball (as pitcher) for Stovall Baptist Church for many years.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, October 18, 2015 at 2:00 P.M. at Eakes Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Eddie Mauldin and Rev. David Haley. Burial will be in Meadowview Memorial Park.
