Mr. Brooks, who passed away Friday, October 9, 2015 at Florence Hand Home in LaGrange, GA, was born June 19, 1933 in Lee County, Alabama. Survivors include: wife, Mary F. Brooks; two daughters, Denise Brooks of Stone Mountain, GA and Sabrina (Willie) Walker of West Point, GA; two grandsons, Aaron Brooks-Williamson of LaGrange, GA and Carl Walker of West Point, GA; one granddaughter, Jada Walker of West Point, GA; one great grandson, Bishop Williamson of LaGrange, GA; two sisters, Olivia Howie and Minnie Knight both of Bronx, NY; one aunt, Emma Jean Peters of Bronx, NY; sister-in-law, Johnnie Vaughn of Fayetteville, NC; two brothers-in-law, James (Mattie) Burton of Opelika, AL and Robert Macon of Lakewood, WA; a host of other relatives and friends.
