Johnnie Mae Pierce, 83, of Wichita Falls, passed away Sunday, October 11, 2015.
Graveside service will be held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, October 17, 2015 at Restland Cemetery in Boswell, Oklahoma. Arrangements are under the direction of Owens & Brumley Funeral Home of Wichita Falls.
Johnnie Mae was born on June 2, 1932 in Boswell, Oklahoma to the late George W. and Rosie Mae Sanders. She was a member of Grace Tabernacle Church of Iowa Park. She retired from Wichita State Hospital where she worked for over 20 years as an LVN. Johnnie Mae enjoyed collecting dolls, cookie jars, and antiques, but most of all, she loved her family and her church family dearly. She was also preceded in death by her daughters, Lisa Jo Roebuck Giles, and Stepheanie Roebuck Bullard; her son, Don Roebuck; and seven brothers and sisters.
She is survived by her daughters, Paula Jean Roebuck Cain of Iowa Park, and Bobbie Jo "BJ" Pierce Reynolds of Wichita Falls; six grandchildren, Tammy, Glenn, Michelle, Samantha, Westen, and Jimmie; four great-grandchildren, Heather, Sierra, Mia, and McKenna; one great-great grandchild, Aiden; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Friday, October 16, 2015 at Owens & Brumley Funeral Home of Wichita Falls.
