B. F. Johnson of Lee Dies on Wednesday: Lee, June 23. Benjamin Franklin Johnson, 75, died at the Glidden Memorial Hospital Wednesday morning of a lingering illness. He was born September 22, 1873, near Lee and was baptized and confirmed at the Lee Lutheran Church. He is survived by three sisters, Emma Johnson of Estherville, la, Josephine Johnson, Madison, MN, and Jane Johnson of East Moline, and many nieces and nephews. Two brothers and five sisters preceded him in death. Funeral services will be Friday, June 24, at 1:30 o'clock at Thorsen's Funeral Home in Shabbona and 2 o'clock-at the Lee Lutheran Church with Rev. M. W. Tolo In charge. Burial will be at the Southwest Cemetery at Lee.
