Mrs. Mable L. (Lott) Harris, age 53, of Metropolis, IL, passed away on Wednesday, October 14, 2015, at her home.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 18, 2015 at Aikins-Farmer Funeral Home with Pastors Encil Edmonds and Michael Hunt officiating. Burial will follow in Hastings Cemetery in Pope County, IL.
Mable is survived by her husband of 14 years, Jeffery Harris of Metropolis; children, James Pollard and wife Amber of Clarksville, TN, David Turner and wife Ashton of Eddyville, KY and Jennifer Bagby and husband Chris of Olmsted, IL; six grandchildren, Haden Pollard, Dalton Pollard, Gabe Pollard, Blake Pollard, Logan Pollard, and Dakota Bagby; three sisters, Phyllis Davis of Metropolis, Ruth Ellis of Hamletsburg, IL, and Robin Ashford of LaCenter, KY; three brothers, Larry Lott of Brookport, IL, Butch Brown of Joppa, IL, and Skip Brown of Boston, MA; several nieces and nephews. She also leaves behind her loving Yorkie companion, Clyde.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Reuben and Betty Lott; one sister, Mary Lott Lang; two brothers, Rodger Lott and Louis Lott; one grandson, Zachery Bagby.
Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until the funeral hour on Sunday, October 18, 2015 at the Aikins-Farmer Funeral Home.
