Dean S. May, 78, died Sunday evening in his residence at 541 S. Washington.

The stone mill sawyer was a member of the Clear Creek Christian Church and the Millworkers Union.

His wife, Maude, died in 1950. Survivors include daughters Mrs. Walter (Evelyn) Bell, 200 E. 16th St., Mrs. Roger (Minnie) Parks, 1402 N. Grant, Mrs. Luther (Margaret) Kelfer, Calif.; sons Gilbert, Richard and William at home, and Robert, Indianapolis; a brother Ogle May, 304 W. 16th St.; a sister Mrs. Luther Conder, Terre Haute; and two granddaughters.

Funeral will be 4 p.m. Wednesday in the Greene & Harrell Chapel. Burial will be in Clear Creek Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 7 this evening.
