" SS North Wales, ..... was a British steamer of 4072 tons.
On October 26th, 1916, North Wales, on a voyage from Hull to Canada in ballast, was sunk by the German submarine U-69 (Ernst Wilhelms), southwest of the Scillies. 30 persons were lost."
