STORM LAKE REGISTER - Thu, Jan 4, 1923 - Jesse M Sypult passed away at his home in the north part of town last Wednesday morning after a short illness. His death was caused by heart trouble and other complications.

J.M. Sypult was born near Morgantown, WV in 1962. At the age of 3 years, he and his parents moved to Ford County, IL, where they lived on a farm for several years. From there they moved to Buena Vista county, Iowa settling near Storm Lake and it was while there that Mr Sypults's father died.

The deceased came with his mother to Sioux Rapids and had made this his home for over 20 years. Mr Sypult was a man of many qualities and although not a member of any church yet his belief in a future life was steadfast. Handicapped by a serious physical infirmity he bore it without complaint. In the passing of this man deep and sincere regret is felt by many of our people.

The funeral services were conducted from the home last Friday afternoon. The body was taken to Storm Lake for burial.

The deceased leaves an aged mother, a half brother at Ford county, IL and other relatives here and in Minnesota.
