Lucy Alexander Boman died between 1901 and 1910. Her last child was born Aug. 1901 and by 1900, her husband was widowed.

Lucy Alexander was a daughter of Henry Nelson and Amanda Alexander. She was a sister to John and Georgia Alexander as listed on Federal Census records which indicated that Amanda was the mother of three children and three living. Lucy married Daniel Boman on February 27, 1883 in Chattooga Co., GA and the family lived in Trion, Chattooga County, Georgia. Dan was a blacksmith and they owned their residence in Trion. Lucy and Dan became parents of Gracie, born Dec. 1883; John Henry, born Jan. 1886; Edward Roy, born Apr 1892 and William Clifford, born Aug 1901. Sometime between 1901 and 1910, Lucy had died and Dan was listed as a widower on the 1910 Chattooga census with two children, Gracie and Clifford, still in the household. Most likely Lucy died before the State of Georgia began recording death records, since a death record cannot be located.

It is uncertain if Lucy and Dan have grave markers.
