Stephen Dwight Daniel of Collinwood, TN was born July 11, 1953 in Waynesboro, TN, the son of the late Claude T. and Louise McNeese Daniel. Mr. Daniel was a long distance truck driver and logger.
Mr. Daniel departed this life on Monday, October 12, 2015 at his sister's home in Collinwood, Tennessee at the age of 62 Years, 3 Months, 1 Day.
He is survived by a brother, Mitchell Daniel of Collinwood, TN; sisters, Shirley Stanley of Collinwood, TN, Peggy Smith of Barberton, OH and Claudette Haddock of Florence, AL; several nieces and nephews; his companion, Janice Staggs of Collinwood, TN; step-children, Tiffany Griggs and Jennifer Horton; a grandson, Cody Reaves.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Daniel was preceded in death by brothers, Travis and Frank David Daniel and a step-son, Chris Griggs.
Services will be held on Friday, October 16, 2015 at 3:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral Directors chapel, Collinwood, Tennessee, with Chad Balentine officiating. Burial will follow in the Macedonia Cemetery, Iron City, Tennessee, with Shackelford Funeral Directors, Wayne County directing.
Visitation will be Thursday, October 15, 2015 from 5:30 pm to 9 pm and Friday, October 16, 2015 from 12 noon until service time at the funeral home.
