Elizabeth Susan Stewart Casey, 97 passed away October 10, 2015 at her home. She was born September 3, 1918 Lewisville, NC to the late Charlie Albert Stewart and Lillie Mae Holder Stewart. Mrs. Casey was a lifetime member of Mt. Tabor United Methodist Church. She retired from Western Electric in 1978. Mrs. Casey was preceded in death by her husband, Donald W. Casey I, and daughter Carolyn B. Casey two sisters and four brothers, one Great Granddaughter, Shannon S. Lambeth, one Great Great Granddaughter, Casey L. Lambeth. She is survived by her son Charles K Casey, and spouse Vicki L. Casey of Orlando, FL.; Six grandchildren, Michelle A. Casey Emond, Cynthia K. Casey Rice both of Alpharetta, GA, Donald W. Casey II of Orlando, FL.; Teresa L. Pueschel Slaughter of Winston Salem, James Michael Pueschel of Asbury, WV., Mary Elizabeth (Lisa) Pueschel Knight of Yadkinville. Fourteen Great Grandchildren Richard E. Apodoca of Albuquerque, NM., Gilbert Granados of Seaside, CA., Nicole E. Granados of Las Vegas, NV., Michael A. Emond of Fairfax, VA., Brandon K. Keith of Alpharetta, GA., Benjamin D. Casey of Clermont, FL., William Lorenzo (Loren) Slaughter and spouse Decca R. Slaughter of Winston Salem, Andrew A. Fryer of Winston Salem., Tanya A. Pueschel Reese spouse and Nathan Reese Sr. of Winston Salem.,Nicole L. Pueschel of Pinnacle, NC., Christopher M. Pueschel and spouse Amanda K. Cox Pueschel of Salisbury, NC., Matthew D. Pueschel of Mocksville, NC., Elizabeth (Izzy) H. Spriggs of Yadkinville, NC. Twenty-one Great Great Grandchildren, Alicia Granados, Alyssa Apodaca, Allison Casey, Anthony Granados, Robin Prescott, Shane, Ashley, Kylie Lambeth, Diana and Austin Slaughter, Nathan Reese Jr., Kaitlyn Jarvis, Christopher Jr., Steven, and Carolyn Pueschel, Brighton, Makalyn, & Xander Pueschel and Jonathan, Joseph & Katie Kearns. Two sisters, Ruby Calloway of Winston Salem and June Brown of Wilmington and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held at 11 am Wednesday October 14 at Voglers on Reynolda burial will follow at Forsyth Memorial Park.
