Their children included Benjamin Perkins, America Jane (m. Goodgine), John W., Susan (m. Dean), Melvina (m. Hargrove), George Washington, Joseph, Fount D, Sophronia C. (m1 Shires, m2 Baskette), Van Wilder, Tennessee (m. Akins) Hargrove, and two children as yet unidentified.

Franklin, Nov. 13: Anderson Hargrove, one of Williamson County's oldest citizens, died nine miles from this place to-day. He had lived all his life in this county, his birthplace being near Bethesda. He was in his 82nd year. He raised a family of thirteen children. He was also a most successful bee raiser. He never failed to vote, and the last time he left home was to cast his ballot in the last election.

He was survived by his wife and four daughters: Mrs. James Hargrove and Mrs. Lou Akins of Boston, Tennessee; Mrs. W. H. Baskette of Nashville; and Mrs. Susie Dean, of Arkansas; and by two sons, Fount Hargrove of Williamson County and Van Hargrove of Columbia.
