Prominent lawyer and municipal judge (appointed 1915) and and twice Mayor of Dover NH (1893-96) He was the son of Joseph T. and Susan (Frost) Nason. Educated in South Berwick and Kennebunk, Maine. He began reading law, completing law course in the office of Buel C. Carter at Wolfeboro, NH. He began his law practice in Dover NH in 1879, the year of his admission to the NH Bar. He served as Dover City Solicitor from 1883 to 1890, was Representative to the Legislature from 1887 to 1888, Strafford County Solicitor from 1892 to 1896, followed by three biennial terms, .
