MARION, Va. William Harold Atwood, age 87, passed away September 29, 2015. He was preceded in death by his parents, James T. and Okie P. Atwood; and a brother, B.J. Atwood. He is survived by his wife, Naomi Atwood; his daughter and son-in-law, Vicky and Doug Hash of Atkins, Virginia; one sister, Evelyn Rutherford of McDonough, Georgia,and several cousins, nieces and nephews. A gathering of family & friends will be held from 2 until 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, October 17, 2015, from the Bradley's Funeral Home Chapel in Marion followed by a time of remembrance at 2:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the Troutdale Cemetery c/o Anita McGrady, P.O.Box 5, Troutdale, VA 24378.
