Margaret was born in Lexington, Missouri, the daughter of Sam B. Browning and Mary Alice Adams.
She attended Mexico Schools and Hardin College. She was also a graduate of the Los Angeles School of Hotel and Motel Management, Los Angeles, California. She retired from the U.S. Department of Agriculture as a secretary.
Margaret lived for many years in the states of Ohio and North Carolina and moved to Mexico in 1980.
She was preceded in death by one sister, Mae Nichols; two brothers, George William Browning and Samuel Earl Browning; and one step-sister, Alice Erisman.
Private graveside services will be held in East Lawn Memorial Park.
