Charlie Lucious Manning, 80, of Nashville died Tuesday October 13, 2015 in the Rehabilitation Center of South Georgia.

He was born June 5, 1935 in Crisp County to the late James Robert Lee Manning and the late Betsy Pate Manning. He was retired from Georgia DOT in the road maintenance department and a member of Long Bridge Primitive Baptist Church. He was the widower of Jeanette Griffin Manning who died in 2014. He was also preceded in death by a brother: Joseph Manning.

He is survived by a son: Chuck Manning of Florida; 2 brothers: Glover Lamar (Cortez) Manning of Tifton and Authur Lee (Louise) Manning of Atlanta; 2 sisters: Erma (Jim) Barnett of Tifton and Kay Francis Spradlin of Tifton; and several nieces and nephews.

A graveside funeral service was held in Long Bridge Cemetery on Friday October 16, 2015 at 11 AM with Elder Robert Skinner officiating. Lovein Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
