Dick was called to his Heavenly home on Oct. 14, 2015 at 87 years old, surrounded by his loved ones. He was born June 2, 1928 Enid, OK to Curtis & Essie Pearl (Dwinell) Stone.

After graduating from Enid High School in ‘45 he began working and retired from Southwestern Bell in 1982. Dick cherished his moments with family, & always loved cooking, especially during the holidays. He was very active in his free time, golfing, fishing, camping, & woodworking.

Preceded in death by his parents; 1st wife Helen Lucille Stone; & sister Melva Lee Ellis, he is survived by his wife, Mary Berg; son Mike Stone; daughter, Deborah Owens; sister, Roberta Lee & her sons David & John Lee; grandchildren, Stacy Goble; Amy Meyers & husband Scott; Kyle Stone & wife Tara; Chris Owens & wife Michelle; Tim Owens, & girlfriend Nikki; great grandchildren Chase Hagen, Kirstyn Lewis, Eli Meyers, Tyler Goble, Madi Stone, Lily Stone, Keelyn Stone, Caden Owens, Teagen Owens, Hannah Owens; great-great granddaughter Victoria Lynn Daniel; step-children; Robert Berg Jr., Linda Berg, Tonia Alexander; nephew, Tom Ellis & wife Kathy as well as many nieces, nephews, family & friends.

Viewing will be from 4-8 PM Thursday & Friday with the family receiving friends from 6-8 PM Friday. Services to celebrate his life will be 10:00 AM Saturday, October 17, 2015 at Vondel L. Smith & Son South Colonial Chapel, 6934 S. Western Ave. with burial following at Memorial Park Cemetery Enid.
