June C. Lang, age 84, of Mount Vernon passed away on Tuesday, October 13, 2015 at her home with her family by her side.
She was born on June 19, 1931 in Dover, Ohio to the late Wilbert and Bertha (Brown) Espenschied. June was employed for over twenty-three years at Wendy’s here in Mount Vernon and was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist City Church.
She is survived by her husband Earnest Lang; three daughters, Sharon (Don) Cooper, Carolyn (Roger) Buchanan, Connie Tier; three sons, Ken (Teena) Lang, Dan Lang, Jeff (Becky) Lang; sixteen grandchildren; thirty four great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; and two sisters, Thelma Keffer and Lucy Wade.
Besides her parents, June was preceded in death by her great granddaughter Chloe Buchanan; two sisters, Violet Heid and Esther Lang; and two brothers Loyal and Wayne Espenschied.
Friends may call on Sunday from 2-5PM at the Flowers-Snyder Funeral Home and on Monday from 12-1PM at the Seventh Day Adventist City Church. A service will follow on Monday beginning at 1PM with Pastor Rodney Davis officiating. Burial will be held in Mound View Cemetery.
