MAYBERRY, Sr., James C. Age 69, of Dayton passed away October 11, 2015. Jim was born in Dayton, OH to the late Cordell and Muriel Mayberry. He is preceded in death by brother William Mayberry Sr. Jim graduated from Stivers High School in 1964 and worked at his father's moving business until he went on to co-own moving companies. In addition to the moving companies he owned several bars and restaurants. He had a love for Hot Rodding and attended many car shows where he won numerous awards. Jim is survived by his wife of 47 years, Carol; son, Jim Jr. (Kathy); daughter, Jennifer (Mike); grandchildren, Mackenzie, Zachary, Landen, Madalyn and Addison. He is also survived by his brothers, Bob (Ruthann), Ken (Sheila); sister, Connie; sister-in-law, Delores; mother-in-law, Mila Wilder; and many nieces, nephews and dear friends. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday October 15, 2015 at Tobias Funeral Home - 5471 Far Hills Ave. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be in David's Community Mausoleum. The family would like to thank Miami Valley Surgical ICU staff, Dr, Ekeh and Dr. Ouellette for the special care they provided to Jim.
