Martha A. Rorie Chapman 77, of Kansas City KS. passed away Oct 13, 2015. She was born April 4, 1938, to William Joe and Hazel Rorie in Flippin AR. She devoted her life to raising her children and being a friend to everyone she met. Martha was a cheerful, positive and outgoing person, who loved life. She retired from JC Penny's after 22 years and Walmart after 23 years of service. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother Lorene Rorie. Martha is survived by 3 children; Kenneth Chapman Kansas City KS., Teresa (Don) Pauley Linwood, KS., Jackie (Barbara) Chapman Kansas City KS. 2 brothers Bill (Reba) Rorie Mt Home AR., Von Rorie WA., seven grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. Visitation will be from 5:30-6:30pm Friday Oct 16 at Porter Funeral Home 1835 Minnesota Ave., Kansas City, KS. with a Funeral service starting at 6:30PM. Graveside services will be at Flippin Cemetery Flippin, AR. on October 24th at 10:00AM. Memorial contributions may be made to Flippin Cemetery.
