Joe was born in Brownwood, TX on April 25, 1944 and is the son of the late Fred Berry and Mary Lou Gurley Berry.
He served our country in the United States Marine Corps and was a member of the Gospel Light Christian Ministries.
The family will receive friends on Friday, May 22, 2015 from 11 am – 12:30 pm at Anderson Funeral Home followed by a graveside service at the Beaufort National Cemetery at 1 pm with full military honors.
In addition to his wife, Sally; he is survived by a daughter, Joanna Weigand; one son, Eugene Berry; six grandchildren; and one great grandchild.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to Gospel Light Christian Ministries, 201 Jennings Rd, Beaufort, SC 29906.
