Anna Lee Middleton, age 82, of Kingsport, TN, went to be with the Lord at her residence Wednesday, October 7, 2015. Born in Kingsport, she has been a residence all her life. Anna was a member of Fall Branch Baptist Church, and she often attended Gunnings Baptist Church. She enjoyed singing, music, working puzzles, bowling and most of all she loved her family and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.
Mrs. Middleton is preceded in death by her parents, Samuel & Zella Burke; husband, Guy C. Middleton in 2011; son, Eddie Middleton in 2013; daughter-in-law, Shannon Middleton I 2012; sons-in-law, Derrick McMurray in 2004 and Steve Smith in 2012; and a brother, Clay Burke in 2005.
The family will receive friends, Monday, October 12, 2015 from 5:00 – 7:00 pm with funeral services to begin at 7:00 pm in East Tennessee Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bob Ferguson officiating. Graveside services will be held Tuesday, October 13, 2015 at 10:30 am in East Tennessee Cemetery.
