Avis C. Turner, 94, resident of Pinehurst Nursing Home, died there Monday evening.
She was a native of Connersville and had lived in this area all her life. Her husband, Roy F., died in 1965.
Survivors include one daughter, Betty Shain of Richmond; one son, Phillip Turner of Richmond; 18 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; several great-great-grandchildren.
A graveside service for Avis C. Turner will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, May 4, at the Abington Cemetery. There will be no public calling. The Jones Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Memorial contributions may be made to a favorite charitable organization.
