Alois J. "Ollie" Wiesner, age 79, of Brownsville, passed away Sunday October 11, 2015 at his home, surrounded by his loving family.

Ollie was born on March 24, 1936 in Kewaskum to the late Alvin and Clara (nee Theusch) Wiesner Sr., and graduated from Kewaskum High School in the class of 1954. On November 5, 1960 he was united in marriage to Janel Cardarelle at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Kewaskum.

Ollie had been employed at Mercury Moraine in Fond du Lac for 36 years until his retirement.

He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Lomira, the Brownsville Lion's Club, Brownsville Sportsman's Club, and former member of the Brownsville Volunteer Fire and Rescue Department. His most enjoyable hobby was woodworking, which included many different types of projects, especially picnic tables. Spending time with his children and grandchildren gave Ollie his greatest sense of pride and enjoyment.

Those Ollie leaves behind to cherish his memory include his wife, Janel; four children, Daniel (Patti) Wiesner of Neenah, Kathryn (special friend Bill Krueger) Shafer of Oakfield, Joanne (John) Zehren of Lomira, and Patrick (Keri) Wiesner of Mayville; 10 grandchildren, Tara (Justin) Summers, Matthew (special friend Alison) Shafer, Kimberly (Randy) Delcore, Krista Shafer, Mitchell (Amanda) Shafer, Chad Wiesner, Jacob (fiancée Taylor Vieau) Zehren, Nicholas (special friend Michelle) Zehren, Lauren Wiesner, and Kayla Wiesner; sister, Linda (fiancé Keith Schraufnagel) Schaefer of Lomira; brother, Alvin (Frances) Wiesner Jr. of Brownsville; four brothers-in-law, Ardell (Eunice) Cardarelle of Evansville, WI, Donald (Jeanette) Cardarelle of West Bend, Melvin (Lucille) Cardarelle of Sheboygan Falls, and Dennis (Janette) Cardarelle of Evansville, IN; two brothers-in-law, Manny Batzler of Leroy, and John Beck of Campbellsport; other relatives and many friends.

Preceding him in death include his parents, Alvin and Clara; parents-in-law, Louis and Hada Cardarelle; daughter Jackie Wiesner; great-grandson, Bryant Summers; two sisters, Pat Beck and Donna Batzler.

Mass of Christian Burial in remembrance of Ollie will be held on Saturday October 17th at 12:00 (noon) at St. Mary's Catholic Church (699 Milwaukee St.) Lomira. Rev. Michael Petersen will be the celebrant.

Visitation with family and friends will be Saturday at the church from 9:00 am until the time of Mass. Burial will follow the Mass in St. Mary's church cemetery.

Memorials to the Brownsville Volunteer Fire and Rescue Dept. are appreciated.

The family wishes to express a heartfelt thank you to the wonderful care extended to Ollie during his illness from the staff of Hospice Hope.
