MOLINE — Virginia A. Pearson, 89, of Moline, passed away Monday, Oct. 5, 2015, at Heartland Health Care Center, Moline.
Private graveside services will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 15, at Rock Island Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.

Virginia was born June 29, 1926, in Rock Island, the daughter of Benjamin and Beatrice (Berry) Farrar. She married C. Dale Pearson on Sept. 20, 1947. He preceded her in death on March 24, 1988.
She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Moline, and Short Hills Country Club.
Surviving are her sons, Charles D. “Chuck” (Jonie) Pearson, Rock Island, and David (Pam) Pearson, Moline; grandchildren, Shaun Pearson, Rock Island, Ashley (Brad) DeVrieze, Omaha, Neb., and Christopher Pearson, Reno, Nev.; and a great-grandson, Ren DeVrieze.
She was preceded in death by her husband; a granddaughter, Krista; her sister, Barbara Marx; and brother, Ben Farrar Jr.
