FORMER RESIDENT OF SPANISH FORK DIES IN CALIFORNIA

Edward "Eddie" G. Elmer, 82, a former resident of Spanish Fork, died Tuesday at Glendale, Calif.

He was born May 23, 1874, at Silver City, Utah, a son of Golden C. and Rachael Rouse Elmer. He was a co-partner in the Elmer Confectionary from 1920 until 1945, at Spanish Fork. He then moved to California, where he had since resided. He was an active member of the LDS Church.
Surviving are two nephews, two nieces, and one sister-in-law, Golden C. Elmer, Salt Lake City; Gordon Elmer, San Diego; Audry Elmer, Cincinnatti, Ohio; Mrs. Jean Truman, and Mrs. Sarah Elmer, Spanish Fork.

Funeral services will be held Saturday at 12 noon, at the Claudin Funeral Home, with Bishop Mark S. Boyack officiating. Friends may call Saturday prior to services at the mortuary. Burial will be in the Mount Olivet Cemetery, Salt Lake City.
