Gerald R. Hutchinson, 81, departed this life on Friday morning, Oct. 9, 2015, at his home with his family by his side, in Springfield, Ill.
He was preceded in death by parents, Gladys (Comley) and Herbert E. Hutchinson; stepmother, Addie (Stewart); and brother, Herbert A. Hutchinson.Survivors include: wife, Loretta E. (Stewart) Hutchinson; sons, Gerald A. and Michael M. Hutchinson; granddaughter, Catherine E.; and grandsons, Michael M. and Gerald A. Hutchinson; brother, Richard Hutchinson; sister, Jean Hutchinson; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.Services were held on Thursday, Oct. 15, 2015, at Tabernacle Missionary Baptist Church in Alton, IL.
