Carol A. McCormick, 70, of Railroad Street, Danville, passed away Friday, Oct. 9, 2015, at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville.
She was born Oct. 25, 1944, in Danville, a daughter of the late William and Mildred McDermott.
Carol worked at Geisinger Medical Center in the central appointment department for more than 30 years until her retirement in 2011.
She was an avid reader and knitter. Carol’s true love was spending time with her family.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 41 years, Raymond L. McCormick, in 2006.
Carol is survived by her three daughters: LeeAnn and her husband, Jack Brecht; Cindy and her husband, David Stump, and Corie and her husband, Kevin Myers, all of Danville; three grandchildren: Dalton, Lynsey and Raylee, as well as a sister, Coleen, and her husband, David VanHorn of Fernville.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 15, 2015, at the Brady Funeral Home, 320 Church St., Danville, with the Rev. Edmund Minnich, retired, officiating funeral services. The burial will follow at Odd Fellows Cemetery in Danville.
