Jonathan P. George, 27, of Arona, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, Oct. 11, 2015. He was born Dec. 23, 1987, in Las Vegas, Nev., a beloved son of Christine Watrous, of Arona, and the late Michael E. George. Jonathan was a loving and devoted father, son, brother, grandson, uncle, nephew, cousin and friend. He was a very hardworking mason/bricklayer who took pride in his work. Jonathan will be sadly missed by his beloved family. He is survived by his two daughters who he deeply loved, Ava Nicole George and Stella Oshea George; his mother, Christine; sister, Shala Rae George; grandmother, Edna Mae Watrous; nephew, Jason Gunner Truong; niece, Sofia Rose; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
A gathering of family and friends will be held from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. Thursday at the VAIA FUNERAL HOME INC., 463 Athena Drive, Delmont, 724-468-1177. A memorial service for Jonathan will be conducted at 11:30 a.m. Thursday immediately following the gathering, with Pastor Jerry Wages of Murrysville Alliance Church officiating. Committal services and interment in Twin Valley Memorial Park, Delmont, will follow.
