Debra Ruth Thomas, age 57, of Brandenburg, KY passed away Monday, October 12, 2015 at Norton Suburban Hospital in Louisville, KY.
Debra was born May 13, 1958 in Louisville, KY to Lucille Cox Newton and the late Otis Kyle Cawthorn.
Debra was a loving wife and mother and was a member of Grace Community Church in Shepherdsville, KY, which she dearly loved.
Her father Kyle Cawthorn and brother Garry Cawthorn preceded her in death.
She is survived by her husband Michael A. Thomas of Brandenburg; children, Charity Thomas, Ashley Thomas and Mat Thomas all of Brandenburg; mother, Lucille Newton; grandchildren, Zachary Thomas, Kaidyn Thomas, A.J. Freeman and Cianna Bach; sisters, Barbara (Donald) Price of Hiseville, KY, Gina (Buster) Newton and Pam (Larry) Hazelwood both of Louisville; brothers, Buddy Cawthorn of Louisville and Terry (Donna) Cawthorn of Ft. Myers, FL.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, October 15, 2015 at 1 P.M. EDT from the Chapel of the Bruington-Jenkins-Sturgeon Funeral Home with burial to follow in Cap Anderson Cemetery.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, October 14, 2015 from 11 A.M. till 8 P.M. EDT and after 9 A.M. Thursday at the funeral home.
