Stacy Scroggins Cook, age 95, passed away Monday, December 25, 2006 in a local hospital. She was the daughter of the late John and Kate Scroggins.



She was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church in Ocoee where she was a member of the Adult Women’s Sunday School Class.



She was preceded in death by husbands, U. L. Goode and Johnny Cook; brothers: Robert Scroggins, Earl Scroggins, “Bud” Scroggins; sisters: Willie Mae Qualls, Maxine Dixon and Nadine Sewell; nieces: Linda Henry and Elizabeth Barner; nephew, Steve Qualls.



She is survived by sister, Johnnie Sue Keith of Etowah; step-son, Melvin Cook of Stockbridge, GA; special nieces and nephews: Pat Swafford and Bennie Nicholson both of Ocoee, Alvin Dixon, Jr. of Ocoee, John Dixon of Cleveland and Kay Hammonds of Cleveland; several wonderful neighbors and friends also survive.



The family will receive friends Wednesday, December 27, 2006 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Higgins Funeral Home in Benton, TN. The funeral will be held immediately following the visitation with Reverend Kinzel Hooker and John Dixon officiating. Interment will be in Benton Memorial Gardens on Thursday, December 28, 2006 at 10:00 a.m. Pallbearers will be grand nephews: Kevin Swafford, Jason Nicholson, Chris Swafford, Todd Henry, Roger Clark and nephew, Junior Dixon.
