Thelma McMahen, 98, of Magnolia, AR died Saturday, October 10, 2015 at Wentworth Place in Magnolia. Thelma was born on January 26, 1917 in Columbia County, AR to the late James Shelby and Sibley (Foster) Price.
She has been a lifelong active member of Central Baptist Church since 1942 and retired after 20 years from Pittmans Nursery. For many years she enjoyed quilting and dearly loved spending time with her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 52 years Olen McMahen; daughter Carol Ann McMahen Dyson; brothers Archie Lee Price, Dillard Price, Edward Cliffton Price, James Shelby Price, Jr., Charles Roy Price, and Glen Hugh Price.
Thelma is survived by her daughter Wanda Milner of Magnolia; son James McMahen and wife Elizabeth of Alma; grandchildren Brad Milner and wife Paula of Yorktown, VA, Marsha Dyson Carter of Benton, Jay Dyson and wife Lindy of Magnolia, John Dyson, Jr. of Magnolia, Michelle Wagner and husband David of Alexander, Jim McMahen and wife Virginia of Harrison, Brian McMahen and wife Dana of Alma, Robert McMahen and wife Jennifer of Harrison; seven great grandchildren; and nine great great grandchildren.
Funeral services are at 10:00 AM at Lewis Funeral Home, Inc. in Magnolia with Bro. Steve Ford officiating. Burial will be at Memorial Park Cemetery.
