Raymond R. Smith, 74, of 410 E. Orange St., died Friday in his home.

He operated a paint, wallpaper and frame shop in Shippensburg; was former owner and operator of J. Raymond Smith Furniture Co.; Army Air Corps veteran of World War II; member of the Shippensburg Historical Society; Cumberland Valley Lodge No. 315 F&AM, Shippensburg; Harrisburg Consistory; former Shippensburg borough councilman; and member of the Memorial Lutheran Church, Shippensburg.

Surviving are his wife, Helen G. Henry Smith; a son, John R. of Lancaster; a sister, Helen L. Bard of Chambersburg; and three grandchildren.

Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Memorial Lutheran Church. Private burial with military honors will be in the Spring Hill Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 1 to 2 p.m. Tuesday in the church. Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
