Doris Hines, 72, of White Lake, SD passed away Tuesday, October 6, 2015 at Firesteel Healthcare Center in Mitchell, SD. Funeral services are 10:30 A.M. Friday, October 9, 2015 at the United Methodist Church in White Lake. A Committal Service will follow at Hope Cemetery in Wessington Springs, SD. Visitation will be held at the church from 6:00 – 8:00 P.M. Thursday, October 8, 2015 with an 8:00 P.M. Prayer Service.
Doris Elaine (Martin) Hines was born on April 27, 1943 to Vincent and Myrtice (Madsen) Martin in Fryburg, ND. She attended school in Beach, ND. On March 17, 1960 Doris was united in marriage to Howard Hines at First Assembly of God in Huron, SD. She worked as a nurse at the Aurora-Brule Nursing Home in White Lake, SD.
Doris was preceded in death by: her baby girl, Vicki Ruth; her parents, Vincent and Myrtice; a sister, Marvel Martin; a brother, Dean Martin; mother-in-law, Mollie Rogers; and father-in-law, Walter Hines.
