Louis J. Kummerow, 69, of Chicago, a former resident of Oak Park for 25 years, died Thursday, July 21, at the Lutheran Deaconess hospital in Chicago. He was formerly in the undertaking business. Son of the late Fred M. and Ricka Kummerow; brother of the late Ella Hansen, and father of the late Burton and Jean, he is survived by two sons, Louis C. and William T., both of 118 Gale [River Forest]; a sister, Minnie of Oak Park, and a brother, George, of 446 Lenox [Oak Park], and three grandchildren. Services took place Tuesday afternoon at the Grace Evangelical Lutheran church of River Forest, and burial took place at Concordia.
