Michael served his country honorably in the United States Air Force and was a Sales Representative with Safeguard Security Services. Mike, as he was fondly known to his family and friends, was an avid sportsman who enjoyed golfing with his dad and friends. He was a very loving person with a big heart, especially with children.
Mike was the beloved son of Henry S. and Marlene Ann Coy; cherished brother of Michelle King and her husband Jim of San Antonio; loving uncle of Christopher Henry and Emily Ann King; dear nephew of Erwin and Irene Reinhard of San Antonio, Anna Maria S. Coy of San Antonio and Robert and Clydenne Glenn of Roanoke, VA. Other survivors include numerous cousins and a host of friends.
Visitation for Michael will be held on Thursday, March 20, 2003 beginning at 6:00 P.M. in St. Luke's Catholic Church, 4603 Manitou Drive where the Rosary will begin at 6:30 P.M. The Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated on Friday, March 21, 2003 at 1:30 P.M. in St. Luke's Catholic Church with Fr. Mike Horan officiating. The Rite of Committal and Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery. Serving as honorary bearers will be members of Team Golf. "Michael, we will miss you dearly and you will remain in our hearts forever. We Love You." In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to a children's charity of choice. Mission Park Funeral Chapels North.
