Mary Jo Boucher,50, a Silver City resident went to be with Jesus on Monday July 30, after a lifelong battle against cystic fibrosis. She passed away at Gila Regional Medical Center. Calling hours will begin at 6 in the evening Thursday at Baca's Funeral Chapels, with the prayer vigil beginning at 7. The funeral liturgy will be celebrated Friday at 10 in the morning at St. Francis Newman Center Parish, with Father Gerard Beigel officiating. The rite of committal and interment will follow at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Cemetery. She was born March 3, 1951, in Onawa, Iowa to Charles Wayne and Kathleen Fouts Beigel. On July 7,1973 in Anaheim, Calif., she married the love of her life Paul Francis Boucher. They moved to Silver City 12 years ago from Flagstaff, Ariz. She was a devoted Catholic and a member of St. Francis Newnan Center Parish. She love being with her family, but most of all she loved to laugh and spend time wither two grandchildren. Even though she battled with cystic fibrosis all her life, she never complained and always remained strong. She will always be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She is survived by her husband, Paul F. Boucher of Silver City; her father Charles W. Beigel of Steubenville, Ohio; two daughters Jennifer Mahl and her husband John Mahl Jr. of Silver City and Christina Boucher of Las Cruces; four brothers Steve Beigel and wife Mary and Tom Beigel and wife Claudia all of Concord, Calif.,the Rev. Gerard Beigel of Denver, and Jim Beigel and wife Stacey of Steubenville; three sisters Connie Huston and husband Darrell of Boise, Idaho and Susan Carlson and husband David and Cathy Harris and husband Jeff all of Steubenville; and two grandsons, Alex and Michael Mahl of Silver City. Preceding her in death were her mother Kathleen Ellen Beigel, and her brother Johnnie Beigel. Serving as pallbearers will be Steve, Tom, and Jim Beigel, John Mahl Jr., Rick Conway and Greg Moore. Honorary pallbearers are Wayne Bosna, David Mulholland, David Carlson, Jeff Harris, Darrell Huston and Rick Boucher. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations in memory of Mary Boucher to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation or Make a Wish Foundation. Entrusted to the care of Baca's Funeral Chapels
