Johnny Cantrell, 71, died October 8, 2015.
A native of Tampa, FL, son of the late Fred and Iva Bell Cantrell, he was a retired employee of Hoechst Celanese and a US Army Vietnam War Veteran.
Surviving are his wife, Janece Hughes Cantrell of the home; two sons, Colin Cantrell of Greer and Adam Cantrell of Duncan; one daughter, Brooke Cantrell of Jasper, FL; two brothers, Ed Cantrell and Tony Cantrell; four sisters, Janette Cowart, Helen Hand, Tina Murphy and Debbie Adams and one granddaughter, Abigail Cantrell.
Mr. Cantrell was predeceased by two sisters, Carolyn Cockcroft and Virginia Hannon and a brother, George Cantrell.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at Wood Mortuary conducted by Rev. Don Elders. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Memory Gardens.
Visitation will be held 6:00-8:00 p.m. Tuesday at Wood Mortuary.
The family is at the home of his sister, Helen Hand.
