Toledo Blade Obituary published July 5, 1947 reads:
Mrs. Dena Buckenmeyer, 78, died yesterday in the Collingwood Park Rest Home after an illness of six months. She formerly resided in Swanton, O., and Milburn Ave.
Mrs. Buckenmeyer was born in Fort Jennings, O., and had lived in Toledo 64 years. She was a member of Gesu Church.
Survivors include sons, Edward, assistant county prosecutor; William, Leo, Albert and Clarence, Toledo, and Victor, Swanton; daughter, Mrs. Minnie Langenderfer, Richfield Center, O.; sisters, Mrs. Christine Wieging, Fort Jennings; Mrs, Teresa Smith and Mrs. Minnie Beucher, Toledo; 21 grandchildrfen and 2 great-grandchildrfen.
Services will be at 9 a.m. Monday in the James Coyle & Son Moprtuary, Collingwood Blvd., and at 9:3- a.m. in Gesu Church. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
