Michelle E. Bailey, age 54 of Kansas City, MO., formerly of Marceline, died Friday, Oct. 9, 2015 at her home. Michelle was born at Marceline on Aug. 11, 1961 to Larry and Sharon (Knight) Ervie. She married Joseph D. Bailey on June 30, 2001 at Las Vegas, NV. Michelle worked as a print buyer, was a member of Gilda’s Club in Kansas City, and had been a Kansas City resident for 30 years. She is survived by her parents, Larry and Sharon Ervie, Marceline; husband Joseph Bailey and daughter Lucy Bailey of the home in Kansas City; two brothers, Stewart and Debbie Ervie, Kansas City, MO; and Brett and Erika Ervie, Marceline; and many nieces, nephews and other family members. She was preceded in death by her grandparents. Funeral services will be at 11 AM Mon., Oct. 12, 2015 at Delaney Funeral Home in Marceline with burial in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Marceline. Visitation will be 5-8 PM Sunday, Oct.11 at the funeral home in Marceline. Memorials may be made to Linn County Humane Society or Marceline Library and sent to Delaney Funeral Home 1720 N.
