Mary (Susie) Streubel, age 74, a resident of 3505 Virginia Drive,
Manitowoc, died Saturday, Feb. 16, 2002 at Aurora Medical Center, Two
Rivers.
Funeral services will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 21, 2002 at
Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church, Manitowoc. The Rev. Glen Unke will
officiate. Burial will be in Pioneer’s Rest Cemetery, Two Rivers.
Susie was born March 16, 1927 in Milwaukee. Her parents were the late
Hart and Antoinette Maricci Orvis. She married Paul L. Streubel April
23, 1949. She was a member of Immanuel Evangelical Church, Manitowoc.
Survivors include her husband, Paul: six children: Sam (Donna) Streubel
of Boston, Mass.; Paul (Marilyn) Streubel of Two Rivers; Steven
(Barbara) Strebuel of Manitowoc; Hart (Jill)Streubel of Charlotte, N.C.;
Adam (Lynn) Streubel of Greenville, Wis.; Missy Streubel of Atlanta,
Ga.; 11 grandchildren; three great grandchildren; special friends Mugs
Duescher, Marty Fronk and childhood friend June Thomas; also nieces,
nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her
parents, three brothers and a sister-in-law: Arthur Orvis, Robert
(Betty) Orvis and Richard Orvis.
Friends may call at Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church, Manitowoc,
Thursday from 4 p.m. until the time of service at 7 p.m.
The Harrigan Parkside Funeral home and Cremation Center is assisting the
