Esther M. Streubel, 92, formerly of 2212 Adams Street, Two Rivers, died Saturday, July 13, 1991, at Hamilton Memorial Home, Two Rivers. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. John Lutheran Church, Two Rivers. Rev. Edward Stelter will officiate with burial at Pioneer Rest Cemetery, Two Rivers. She was born October 6, 1898, in Two Rivers, daughter of the late Harry F. and Elizabeth Schmidt Wilsmann. She married Paul E. Streubel Sr. on July 24, 1919, at Glidden, Wis. He preceded her in death in 1968. She was a charter member of Dorcas Society at St. John Church, and an organizing member of The Bible Study Group in 1937. Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Paul and Mary Streubel
of Manitowoc, Timothy and Sharon Streubel of Charlotte, N.C.; two daughters and a son-in-law, Margaret Batchelder of Two Rivers, Esther and Joseph Machinski of Schaumburg, Ill.; 18 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two sons, Alvin and Edward, four brothers, two sisters, and a granddaughter. Friends may call after 9 a.m. Wednesday morning at the church until the time of service. There will be no visitation at Klein and Stangel Funeral Home, Two Rivers. Memorials may be made to St. John Lutheran Church.
