Verna was a loving and caring person who was dedicated to her family. She was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 24 years, Thomas Collins, and parents, Eugene and Kathleen Blanton.
Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Mary Spencer (Eric); grandchildren, Italia, Skie, Thomas, and Ashton; siblings, Betty Clark, Gwen Bettle (Sam), Sandra Fulkerson (Kenneth) and Dwight Blanton (Geri); and many nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life will be Tuesday at 10:00am . Visitation will be Monday from 2:00-8:00pm at the funeral home. Burial will be at Evergreen Cemetery immediately following the service.
