VANCOUVER, Washington--Clifton Guy Scott, 73, passed away at his home in Vancouver on April 21, 1992 from complications of diabetes.

Born in Provo, Utah on September 6, 1918 the son of Clyde and Nellie Robey Scott. Married Joan Tangren in Salt Lake City. Employed by Mack Trucks in Salt Lake City and Portland, Oregon. Member of Masonic Lodge. Served in World War II, 3rd Infantry Division with Audie Murphy.

Survived by wife, Joan; daughters and sons, J. Karen Hall, West Linn, Oregon; Ann Tracey and Guy Scott, Vancouver, Wash.; Sue Dye, Salt Lake City; Bill Scott, Sydney, Australia; and Vickie Scott, El Cerrito, Calif.; five grandchildren and one great-grandson; two brothers, Milan (Mike) Scott, Warrenton, Oregon; and Billy Scott, West Jordan. Preceded in death by a brother, Bob Scott; and a grandson, Robert P. Tracey. Funeral services in Sandy, Monday, April 27, 2 p.m., Larkin Sunset Gardens Chapel, 10600 South 1700 East, where friends may call Sunday evening 5-7 p.m., and Monday, the hour prior to services. Burial, Sunset Gardens Cemetery
