PARKER, Jeanne Frances age 89, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family at Hospice of the Calumet Area's William J. Riley Memorial Residence, Munster, Ind., on October 20, 2014. Born on March 3, 1925, in Springfield, Ohio, to the late Carl F. and Elsie M. Bohn, she graduated from Springfield's Catholic Central High School and Good Samaritan School of Nursing in Dayton, Ohio. She married George Robert Parker of Springfield, Ohio on December 30, 1950. Jeanne will be especially remembered for her warm heart, devotion to her family, avid love of golf and vibrant personality. Survivors include her husband of 64 years, G.R. Parker of Munster, Ind.; sister Elizabeth D'Amico of Cape Coral, Fla.; sister-in-law Mary Margaret Kadel of Westerville, Ohio; four sons Robert F. (Renee) Parker of Schererville, Ind.; Richard S. Parker of Crown Point, Ind.; Timothy J. (Diane) Parker of Griffith, Ind.; and Terrence M. (Mary Beth) Parker of Raleigh, North Carolina. Jeanne had ten grandchildren: Elaine (Michael) Reyna, Mary (Adam) Wilson, Leslie (Doug) Scott, Brian (Casey), Amy, Bridget, Christopher, Michael, Kevin and Ryan Parker, as well as two great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Preceded in death by her parents and brother Carl E. Bohn (Betty). A visitation will be held, from 4-7 p.m. on Monday, October 27, at Conroy Funeral Home 1660 E. High St. Springfield, OH, with a Mass of Christian burial at St. Teresa's Catholic Church at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, October 28, followed by Interment at St. Bernard's Cemetery. Please consider making a memorial contribution in Jeanne's name to the in lieu of flowers. The family's deepest thanks are extended to the amazing staff at Hospice of the Calumet Area for their help and support in Jeanne's final time with us. Arrangements by CONROY FUNERAL HOME.
