Mrs. W. Jean Constantin, age 87, of Robinson, IL, died Thursday October 8, 2015 1:59 PM at Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana, IL, following a period of failing health.

Born December 29, 1927 in Greenup, IL, she was the daughter of Donald Eugene “Gene” and Lola Mae (Gosnell) Moore.

In 1946 she married Robert “Bob” Steele, and he passed away December 1, 2001.

On August 2, 1984 she married Harry L. Constantin, and he preceded her in death October 8, 1990.

Jean co-owned and operated the DELMONICO TAVERN, on the square in Robinson, IL, for many years. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary; Member and Past President of VFW Post #4549 Ladies Auxiliary and Past District #17 VFW Ladies Auxiliary President; Member of the Ladies of the Elks, BPOE #1188.

Survivors include sons and daughter-in-law, Kevin and Suzette Steele, Robinson, IL; Brian Steele, Robinson, IL; daughters and sons-in-law, Patricia “Patty” Oliver, Palestine, IL; Tammy Steele and Jim Cutright, Paris, TN; Karen and Jeff Neer, Evansville, IN; Randi and Mike Kelshimer, Robinson, IL; Melissa Loughery, Robinson, IL; nine grandchildren, David Boyd; Susie and Simon` Perraza; Ryon and Melissa Parker; Melissa and Ben Chui; Michelle Hall; Zach and Andrea Steele; Jedd and Jesse Steele; Natalea and Cody Dunlap; Kirk Loughery; seventeen great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive.

Preceding her in death were her parents; husbands, Bob Steele, 2001 and Harry L. Constantin, 1990; brothers, Richard Moore in 1953; Robert Moore in 2010 and Ronald Moore in 1983; sisters, Shirley Keller, 2012 and Sara Sue Foote in 1991.

Twilight Memorial Service will be Tuesday October 13, 2015 at 7:00 PM at Pulliam Funeral Home, Robinson, IL with visitation from 4:00 PM until time of service at 7:00 PM. Cremation to follow memorial service with a Private Family Interment of Cremated remains in the Robinson New Cemetery, Robinson, IL, at a later date.

Memorial donations may be made to the VFW Ladies Auxiliary or the VFW #4549 Transportation Fund, American Cancer Society or the Crawford County Humane Society, with envelopes available at the funeral home.
